If you like the outdoors, Stowe is the place for you in the summer. From golfing to fishing, bike riding to hiking, you'll never run out of things to do while you enjoy the beauty in and around Stowe.

Named as one of George Bush's thousand points of light, Stowe's recreation path offers bikers, rollerbladers, walkers, and joggers a chance to wind through Stowe while getting a little exercise at the same time. Don't have blades or bikes? Not to worry, you can rent them at one of the many shops in town.

Stowe also comes alive each summer with a variety of events for tourists to enjoy, one of which is the annual balloon festival in July. Ballonists take over the skies with lots of beautifully crafted, colorful balloons making for a sight you are sure not to forget.
